Dr. Nadia Steils

Assistant Professor at HEC Liège (ULiège), Academic Co-Director of the International Strategic Marketing Master's Program

Nadia Steils is an Assistant Professor at HEC Liège (ULiège), where she teaches Methods, Digital Marketing, and Marketing across various academic levels. She also serves as the Academic Co-Director of the International Strategic Marketing Master’s Program. In 2023, she obtained her HDR from the University of Lille. Her educational background includes a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Namur and IAE Lille (2012-2016), a Master’s in Marketing Research from IAE Lille (2010-2012), and a Bachelor’s in Applied Communications from IHECS Brussels (2007-2010). Previously, she held teaching positions at the University of Lille and was a visiting professor at institutions such as the University of Namur, Louvain School of Management (Université Catholique de Louvain), and Solvay Business School. Her research focuses on digital marketing, consumer empowerment, and crowdsourcing, with publications in top journals and presentations at international conferences. She has organized academic workshops, led corporate research collaborations, and received awards such as the Emerald Outstanding Paper Award (2019) and Best Communication Award at the World Marketing Congress (2023). She is fluent in German and French, speaks English proficiently, and has basic knowledge of Dutch.
